There have been many new shows that have caught my eye and they are actually quite good. The ones I am rooting for are given below:
“Bates Motel,” serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film, “Psycho,” and promises to give viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. (source)

This show is one nerve-wrecking roller-coaster of excellent performances and story-line. The acting is phenomenal. Vera Farmiga is just perfect. This show is intriguing, thrilling, psychotic and just good!! It has already been renewed for the next season. I keep on anticipating the next episode. The show makes you keep on guessing.
A must watch!!!
Sarah has always lived the life of an orphan outsider. But a clone is never alone.
Sarah hopes that cleaning out a dead woman’s bank account will solve all her problems. Instead, her problems multiply – and so does she. Experience a whole new side of BBC AMERICA with the channel’s next original scripted series, “Orphan Black,” the exciting and ambitious new addition to the Supernatural Saturday programming block. “Orphan Black” features rising star Tatiana Maslany (“Cas & Dylan,” “Picture Day”) in the lead role of Sarah, an outsider and orphan whose life changes dramatically after witnessing the suicide of a woman who looks just like her. Sarah assumes her identity, her boyfriend and her bank account. But instead of solving her problems, the street smart chameleon is thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery. She makes the dizzying discovery that she and the dead woman are clones… but are they the only ones? Sarah quickly finds herself caught in the middle of a deadly conspiracy and must race to find answers about who she is and how many others there are just like her.
Orphan Black is one cool show exploring the depths and/or elasticity of the world of science and technology. The main lead is just phenomenal in performing each and every new version of herself. This show is intriguing and catches your interest right from the first episode and it keeps on getting better and you keep on wanting more.
Another must watch!!!
In a world where thought and faith are controlled, one man fights to set knowledge free.
The secret history of Leonardo da Vinci’s tantalizing life reveals a portrait of a young man tortured by a gift of superhuman genius. He is a heretic intent on exposing the lies of religion. An insurgent seeking to subvert an elitist society. A bastard son who yearns for legitimacy with his father.
He finds himself in the midst of a storm that has been brewing for centuries. A conflict between truth and lies, religion and reason, past and future. His aspirations are used against him by the opposing forces of the time—luring him into a game of seduction where those who despise his intellect need him most.
Leonardo must take up the fight against foes who use history to suppress the truth. A hero armed only with genius,
da Vinci stands alone against the darkness within, and the darkness without.
Facing an uncertain future, his quest for knowledge nearly becomes his undoing as he explores the fringes of his own sanity. Da Vinci throws himself into his genius and emerges as an unstoppable force that lifts an entire era out of darkness and propels it into light.
His story becomes a mirror into our own world, calling us all to join his fight to Free the Future.
This show is also amazing. The first episode really drew me in. I love the costumes and Da Vinci is one genius. It is a marvel to watch such an influential genius at play and being brought to life.
Not a new show but the fourth season is just amazing. This is the only season that I have watched right from the start. The new judges are amazing. Adam and Blake are, we already know, magnifique. A very good show- especially this season. Some amazing talent.
Other than these shows, I also gave Hemlock Grove a shot. And I am still unnerved about he story. I didn’t get the ending. LOL. It is a curious show which sometimes makes you go like Meh! or Blah! But, give it a shot, none the less.
I also started following The Following but then gave up on the it. It has been picked up for the second season but, nah, I am not rooting for it. Other than that, I also watched Cult but it got cancelled and I had already stopped watching it after the 4th or was it the 5th ep? Anyway, I didn’t like the cast. So, I am kinda glad it ended.
